NEXT STEP 101 is an educational program designed to help parents with mild to moderate levels of conflict develop the skills to cooperatively parent their children following separation and divorce. This program is a 9-hour class that meets once a week for three weeks. Our small group class format allows parents to actively engage in class discussion and participate in role-plays. Parents can attend pre- or post-separation or divorce. Both parents are encouraged to attend for maximum benefit. Please register for separate sessions.
Class objectives are:
- Parents learn new skills and behavior that promote the well being of children.
- Parents learn to separate their experience of the other parent from their child’s experience of that parent.
- Parents learn ways to manage parental conflict.
- Parents learn how to deal more effectively with a difficult co-parent.
- Parents learn how to keep children out of the middle of parental issues.
Cost for 3 week session: $250.00 per person
