Dr. Conrad has been a developmental psychologist for over 30 years. She specializes in child treatment, child and adult psychological evaluation and forensic evaluations in Family and Juvenile Courts. She has worked as an Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology at the University of California Langley Porter Institute, Department of Child Psychiatry and she has over 25 years of experience in the area of attachment of children in complex adoption cases and disrupted adoptions.
Dr. Conrad worked as a therapist for divorcing families at the Center For Families in Transition founded by Dr. Judith Wallerstein where she became interested in research on children of divorce.
Dr. Conrad is a co-founder and board member of ADVOKIDS, a non-profit organization concerned with the welfare of children in the foster care system.
